The Healthcare Industry Forum

The annual HIF, beginning in 1997, boasts the most influential high-level forum, with a long history in the healthcare industry, and it has maintained its motto as to “Analyze the industry situation, Solve developing problems, Construct a healthy future”. For eleven years, the HIF has been dedicated to bringing together VPs, CEO's and executives of both China/Beijing and western companies for inspired communications and collaborations. Having become an important platform for exploring international collaborations between the Chinese and Western healthcare industry, the HIF has gained extensive recognition worldwide and attracted participation both at home and abroad.

The 1st HIF—“1997 Sino-US Seminar on the New Drugs and Market Development” It introduced the experience and knowledge in drug research and market development from market development, clinical research, GMP and GLP quality management, pharmacy, new dosage form, the law, and so on. The conference made great progress in enhancing the contact with SAPA. It created good condition for timely information exchange at home and abroad and teaching experience from abroad in the future.

The 2nd HIF—“1998 Sino-US Seminar on Drug market and Capital Operation” The agendas of all with biomedical professional and business management background introduced a new drug capital operation in large international pharmaceutical companies. They analyzed of the pharmaceutical market approach from different angles. It was the first meeting of a satellite venue for the meeting of experts and delegates to provide a face-to-face exchange opportunities.

The 3rd HIF—“1999 International Seminar on Chinese Pharmaceutical Industry Cross-Century Development”. The theme was Perspective on the cross-century Chinese pharmaceutical industry. The participants on Chinese pharmaceutical industry encountered in the development of the specific issue of the depth study.

The 4th HIF—“2000 International Seminar on Biotechnology China” The theme of the conference was “Prospects for the 21st century biotechnology industry's impact on health” The participants exchanged their ideas on development position, intellectual property, information technology, management and other issues the biotechnology industry faced by in the new century.

The 5th HIF—“Traditional Chinese Medicine and Natural Products China” The conference theme was to revive the national pharmaceutical industry, the economic development of Chinese medicine, Chinese medicine of the 21st century with the development trend of natural medicine. including China, We invited the seven countries and regions in the well-known academics, senior experts, authority officials and successful entrepreneurs to give a lecture.

The 6th HIF—“International Seminar on Innovative Opportunity” The agendas started discussions about the new century health industry, the use of modern scientific theories, technical upgrading traditional industries, to enhance national competitiveness of Chinese medicine, construction with Chinese characteristics and the pharmaceutical industry.

The 7th HIF—The International Seminar on “Amalgamation with Evolution” The agendas discussed on how to establish Chinese biomedical industry in the international pattern of development of Chinese medicine in the role and positioning, how to eliminate the influence of SARS as soon as possible and take opportunity to influence development and growth of Chinese pharmaceutical industry, and other issues. A deepening of the "collaborative competition" and "rolling development", and other industry hot topic and some new thinking were be made..

The 8th HIF—The International Seminar on “Determination & Breakthrough” The largest bright lights was the first "International Medical Entrepreneurs Summit" which was held in the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse. We invited a number of domestic and international pharmaceutical industry's leading figures to attend the summit for the first time and build a platform for China to understand the world pharmaceutical industry, the world to understand Chinese characteristics, Chinese medicine into the international market by a short distance.

The 9th HIF-- The International Seminar on “Catching Opportunities in China”. It is focused on corporate strategy and international multi-center clinical trial and provided an in-depth exchange of the opportunities and atmosphere to domestic and foreign pharmaceutical enterprises. As a bright spot at the Forum, the nine groups always adhered to close to the pulse of industry, leading industry ideas and topics carefully and informative during the Forum.

The 10th HIF—“China’s Opportunity in the Industrial Globalization” adhering to the “ Perspective Industry Status, Solute to the development problems and build a healthy future” The agendas from domestic and foreign enterprises discussed how to vibrant the Chinese pharmaceutical market during the increasing economic globalization, the increasing standardization of the management and a new round of strategic layout adjustment of pharmaceutical Industry division. We invited foreign guests 42, a total of 105 speakers. It showed that influence of the HIF was constantly expanded in global pharmaceutical fields.

The 11th HIF—“Accelerating Collaborations between China and the West”. We adopted the form of plenary lecture and roundtable and attracted 36 delegate from the forefront of the multi-national pharmaceutical companies, a number of heads of experts and scholars from 45 domestic large companies.
